Our meetings are held and hosted by Newton's Yarn located at 2100 E. Howell Ave., Suite #211 in Anaheim, CA 92806. For directions please call (714) 634-9116. Meetings are on the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 am. We share knowledge and show our crafts. Each month we begin with a brief business meeting followed by a show and tell. We bring our items that range from single swatches to entire garments. Most meetings are followed by a guest presenter. We welcome visitors to join the fun!
Please volunteer at the meetings to help with the following:
* Take care of putting the badges out and back to the file cabinet.
* Handing out raffle tickets for those that have a show & tell.
* Select the winning ticket for the free yarn cone of the month.
UPCOMING MEETINGS:
March 13 - Dorothy Akiyama will be demonstrating felting with the use of an emblisher machine.
April 23 thru 26 - There will be no Cone Connection meeting due to the Newton's Spring Fling Seminar.
May 8 - The demonstrator will be Colleen Davis. She will be doing a trunk show. The demonstration will be about 1-1/2 hours.
If anyone has any suggestions regarding future demonstrations, please contact Lupe after the meeting. We all have those attachments put away that may have forgotton how to use, or maybe don't use that often. Refresher demonstrations can always bring out a new view. Requests for computer software help on that calculation.... All of these can be good demonstration suggestions.
